Responsible Gambling

Gambling should be optional entertainment, not a way to solve financial problems or recover previous losses.

Keep existing protections in place

If you use GamStop, device-level blocking software, bank gambling blocks or another self-exclusion tool, do not remove or bypass it to access a casino. EuroElection does not provide instructions for avoiding protection tools.

Set limits before playing

Decide the maximum amount of money and time you can afford before opening an account. Treat that amount as the full entertainment cost, avoid credit and never increase a limit to recover a loss.

Warning signs

Take a break if gambling is causing secrecy, stress, borrowing, missed payments, sleep problems, conflict or repeated attempts to win back losses. Chasing losses and hiding activity are strong signals that gambling is no longer recreational.

Use account controls

Where available, use deposit limits, time reminders, cooling-off periods and account closure tools. Keep records of deposits and withdrawals rather than relying on memory.

Get support

If gambling is becoming difficult to control, speak to a qualified gambling-support organisation or a healthcare professional in your area. In an immediate financial or personal crisis, contact the appropriate local emergency or crisis service.
